How does your booking process work?
Simply fill out the inquiry form on our website by clicking "Check Availability" or "Book Now." We'll confirm if your date is available and schedule a quick phone or Zoom call to discuss your wedding details.
Once you pick a package (or we build a custom one for you), we'll send a service agreement and invoice with a PayPal payment link. You can pay by credit/debit card, ACH, or PayPal account.
After we send your contract, we place a soft hold on your date for seven days so you can review everything without pressure. If the deposit isn't received within that window, the date is released.
Can I make edit requests for my video?
Yes—every package includes two correctional phases. After we send you the first draft, you can send us a list of edits: adding or removing shots, adjusting pacing, changing the style, reordering moments. We want the film to feel completely yours.
After your first round of revisions, we'll send a second draft. You'll have the chance to review it and send another list of edits, and we'll deliver your third and final draft. If additional correctional phases are needed, we can add them on during editing—though none of our couples have ever needed them.
Can I choose the songs in my wedding film?
Yes! We ask for your song selections up front. If you're unsure, we'll ask again during post-production. You'll be able to choose between 2–5 songs depending on your package and the length of your film. Need help choosing? We always offer recommendations.
How long does it take to get my wedding film back?
Your first draft is delivered within 21 days of your wedding. We aim to complete all correction requests within 7 days of receiving them, and typically finalize everything within 30 days of your event—depending on how quickly your edit requests come in.
Can I have all of my raw footage?
Raw footage is not standard in our packages, but it's available as an add-on. We charge $150, which includes a physical hard drive mailed to you. This covers the cost of the drive, shipping, and file transfer.
My venue requires a COI—can you provide one?
Yes. We carry business insurance and can provide a Certificate of Insurance. Most venues also request to be added as a third party to our policy, which we can arrange the week of your event and deliver directly to your coordinator.
Can I hire 2KFILMS for just photography or just videography?
Of course. We offer photography-only and videography-only packages depending on what you need. Just reach out and let us know which service you're looking for, and we'll send over the relevant package details.
